Kocaeli Municipality Visit

Visit to Pelsan Lighting from Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Assoc. Prof. Dr Tahir Büyükakın

Assoc. Prof. Dr Tahir Büyükakın and the accompanying delegation visited Pelsan Lighting which has been providing services  in the lighting industry since 1982 and moved to its new production facilities built on an area of 30,000 m2 in Kocaeli, Dilovası in 2017. During his visit, Mr. Büyükakın was accompanied by Mr. Yiğit Göğüş, General Manager of Pelsan Lighting and senior executives, as well as Ahmet Tokkan, Deputy Chairman of İMES Organized Industrial Zone, and members of the IMES Organized Industrial Zone Enterprising Committee.

During his visit at the factory production area and inspection of the showroom, Mayor of Metropolitan Municipality, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tahir Büyükakın stated that Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality can develop joint projects with Pelsan and they can illuminate roads and streets in the most accurate and standardised way without compromising energy savings by using efficient lighting fixtures.

Büyükakın, who examined every stage of production in detail at the factory of Pelsan Lighting, carefully observed the tasks performed by the employees and received information. Further information was  exchanged about the activities of Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality on lighting during the visit.
